Con una escala urbana que no te apabulla como otras. Las calles y avenidas, las aceras y la altura de los edificios te hacen sentir c\u00f3modo, tranquilo, sin sobresaltos. Una ciudad para caminarla. Es la tercera ciudad de Espa\u00f1a, despu\u00e9s de Madrid y Barcelona con una poblaci\u00f3n cercana al mill\u00f3n de habitantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Lo que primero que me impact\u00f3 fue el antiguo cauce del r\u00edo que la atraviesa pr\u00e1cticamente de extremo a extremo. Y a\u00fan m\u00e1s cuando conoc\u00ed la historia de su origen. Sus ciudadanos, despu\u00e9s de sobreponerse a una inundaci\u00f3n catastr\u00f3fica, y que sus autoridades decidieran desviar el curso del r\u00edo Turia para evitar nuevas inundaciones,\u00a0 discut\u00edan qu\u00e9 hacer en el cauce seco.\u00a0 Los valencianos exigieron: LO QUEREMOS VERDE. Y ah\u00ed est\u00e1, un ejemplo para los urbanistas del mundo. Un bell\u00edsimo parque lleno de verde como lo quer\u00edan, atravesado por puentes antiguos y nuevos, con generosos espacios pa<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ra los ni\u00f1os, p<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">ara los de<\/span>portistas, para los mayores en busca de tranquilidad, para los enamorados\u2026 para los \u00e1rboles, las flores, los p\u00e1jaros, para el aire limpio.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6189 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/vlchost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/imagenes_blog_valencia_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"599\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>La historia de Valencia desde el a\u00f1o 138 ac<\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Valencia, fue fundada por los romanos en el a\u00f1o 138 aC. sobre una isla fluvial del r\u00edo Turia a unos 4 kil\u00f3metros del mar, ocupada por los musulmanes en el 711 dC. y reconquistada por los cristianos en el 1238, la ciudad conserva innumerables monumentos hist\u00f3ricos de las distintas \u00e9pocas. La Ciudad Vieja es un lugar para ser visitado una y otra vez por su cantidad de plazas, iglesias, galer\u00edas y museos, aparte de restaurantes y bares con terrazas. Un lugar que invita a quedarse todo el d\u00eda contemplando la belleza escenogr\u00e1fica del lugar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"es-ES\">Siendo una ciudad perfecta para ser caminada, cuenta con una extensa y variada red de transporte p\u00fablico que incluye tranv\u00edas, buses, Metro y eficientes servicios privados de movilidad. Es perfecto y asombroso salir desde la Ciutat Vella y caminar por el parque hasta la espectacular Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Se trata de un modern\u00edsimo conjunto de edificaciones, dise\u00f1adas por los famosos arquitectos Santiago Calatrava y F\u00e9lix Candela. Toda una referencia urbana y arquitect\u00f3nica universalmente reconocid<\/span><span lang=\"es-ES\">a por su escala monumental y su audacia.
